Reviews from families about the services that they have received from Meg Garhan
“When my son's pediatrician suggested that my son visit PT for a concern about rolling milestones, I was engulfed with guilt and worry. Almost immediately, I reached out to Megan to meet virtually for guidance. Megan swiftly eased my worries while also giving practical tips and tricks that I could try at home. She sent numerous videos, pictures, and answered any and all questions that I had. My son began to roll quickly after meeting with Megan, and I attribute his success to the guidance that she gave. Megan has an incredible gift of empathy that dissolves worry and meets you where you are at as a parent. I am extremely grateful to have been able to work with Megan and would recommend her to anyone needing pediatric PT services.” - Molly
“I did a couple virtual consults with Megan to discuss my daughter’s motor development, some concerns we had about her hitting milestones, and strategies/exercises to help her build those skills. At 7 months, my daughter had no interest in rolling over, so Megan gave us some tips on how to encourage rolling as well as how to build her core strength - two weeks later she was rolling all over! When she was 10 months old, she wasn’t crawling, still struggled to get from lying to sitting, and generally didn’t like to bear weight on her knees/be in a crawling position. Megan had us try some things with her to rule out major flags and reassure us that with some extra support she’d get the hang of those skills quickly.
She provided some simple, easy exercises and activities to help, and a few weeks later our daughter was crawling and hitting the other milestones we were worried about! As first time parents, there’s so much anxiety about what both baby and parents should be doing and when, and Megan provided us with a lot of peace of mind and simple, practical strategies for our family. Now, our daughter is 14 months and walking, climbing on furniture and up the stairs, squatting - all the things a curious and busy toddler does, and we are so thankful to Megan for helping us better support her motor development and gain more independence!” - Maria
