What I Bought In April
April went by in a blink. It held a week of fake summer with weather in the high 70s, a week long birthday celebration for our four year old, early wake ups, and dreaming about the months ahead. I found a few swimsuits I love for our trip to Florida that will be worn throughout the summer and I also found the perfect piece of affordable art for above our bed (finally). With patio hangs ahead, I got these acrylic wine glasses, melamine plates, and beverage tub for entertaining. Goodbye April, and hello to May - my favorite time of the year!
One piece swimsuit
This is the best suit I have found in a while and it is perfect for chasing kids at the beach or pool.
Cover up
So comfortable and very versatile. This goes with pretty much anything and the fabric is amazing.
Nuuly Clothing rental
I tried this last month after hearing such good things. I will definitely be doing it again. This is a great way to get dresses for events, clothes for a vacation, or to try jeans that are maybe a little out of your price range.
Melamine plates
I got these for patio dinners and I have a feeling we will use these a ton in the coming months.
Beverage bucket
For entertaining outside, this is a must and I love the neutral colors of this.
Acrylic wine glasses
They look real, are super light weight and won’t break.
Artwork
I have been looking for landscape art for above our bed forever and I finally found something affordable that also looks amazing.
Outdoor wood finish
After washing and sanding our outdoor wood furniture, I finished it with this. It made it look brand new again after four years of weathering.
Night lights
I put these in the bathroom for the girls for middle of the night potty breaks so that they don’t have to find the light switches. They automatically turn on when it’s dark and turn off when it’s light.
water bottle
My new favorite water bottle. It is REALLY good. Like possibly better than my Stanley water bottle? It’s pretty close.
sandbox
This was one of Maeve’s birthday presents and they have been very busy playing with it so far. It is also not an eye sore in the backyard.
