Nursery Design Plan
I will share more pictures of the nursery when it is all finished in a few weeks, but I wanted to share the design plan I created. This helped me to lay everything out and get a good idea of what I wanted the room to look like.
When I scrolled through nursery ideas, I was always drawn to neutral decor with subtle pops of color. Here is a list of everything that I have bought so far for the nursery and things that are currently in my cart.

Over the past few years, we have settled into our first home together and I have grown to love interior design. I love designing the rooms around our home and helping friends and families with their homes, too.
I am terrified of bright colors and am definitely not a girly girl, so to put together a baby girl’s nursery I started with a lot of neutrals and then added pops of color through art and textiles. I think keeping a nursery neutral is great whether or not you know the gender, because it can be updated to fit any future babes.
We also tried to save money where we could, because putting together a nursery is not cheap! We have a Crate and Barrel outlet near our house, so I went on frequent visits until we found a few great items at 50-60% off! I HIGHLY recommend looking for home store outlets in your area and using stores like Target, Home Goods, and even Home Depot for cheaper décor pieces.
I can’t wait to show you the finished room and the new things I made to put my spin on the room!
