Things I Bought In December
Things I Bought In December
The past two months, most of my purchases have been for Christmas gifts. But this month, I also got a lot of random necessities. Some of these purchases are a part of new habits - books and a journal, and some are things for the girls. I found tiny claw clips that I love for my new short hair and a new coffee brand that is really good. I am very excited for a new year and whatever it may bring. I am smart enough to know that this year will hold challenges, but I can’t wait for all of the good to come and all the things I will learn along the way.
Marley is growing like crazy and grew out of her old snow boots. I ordered these on Amazon to get here quickly, and they are amazing! They look like little Sorel dupes.
The girls love to do this before bed and it is adorable. I used to teach kids yoga classes and I miss it! It is really fun to do simple little poses like these with toddlers to chill them out before a bedtime routine.
This book has a ton (101 to be exact) of essays about life and different topics. They are each 1-2 pages long and are the perfect length to read before bed if you can’t stay awake for a ton of reading.
In the past month, I have started to write in a journal every night before bed. I don’t have much energy by this time of day, so I keep it simple. I wanted to get in the habit, and these journals are simple but sturdy.
I got these after I cut my hair short and they are perfect. They are tiny and great for clipping back half of my hair. Maeve also loves to steal them.
Dan has used these for a long time, but this is the first time I have bought one for myself. I am sometimes bad about eating breakfast before running out the door, so I wanted to have the option to do a quick protein shake for energy when I need it.
I love coffee and I love trying new coffee every time I run out of our Costco stash. I recently tried this and it is so good! I love the half caff and the social dog blend.
These are the best snack on the go. My kids love them, my husband loves them and I love them. I originally found them at Trader Joes, but they are cheaper here in bulk once you discover how good they are.
We use these for the girls for dips or sides of fruits or veggies. They are also great to squish into lunchboxes for sides. I guess you can also just use them for making muffins, too.
We finally got an air fryer! So I got these for easy clean up.
