The Best Gifts for Preschoolers 2024
Preschoolers have a little bit of a longer attention span, but somehow even more energy. They are very into imaginative play and you can trust them a little bit more with art supplies and things like kinetic sand. Here is a list of the best gifts for preschoolers this year.
Magnatiles: The greatest toy. Hands down. A huge basket of these live in our main living space.
Clear makeup: The girls love when I let them put a little blush or lipgloss on, so I thought this was the best idea - real makeup that shows up clear (and has clean ingredients).
Magnatile road toppers: These are a great addition to magnatiles if you have a ton of cars laying around, too.
Play beauty shop: This is also a most-loved toy in our house. It lives on one of the girls dressers and they play hair salon all the time.
Maileg mice: These are the cutest and way less creepy than dollhouse people. Something about tiny things.
Yoto: This is a little audio player that you can plug headphones into. There are a bunch of different cards including stories, children’s podcasts, music, etc. The girls love this for car rides or quiet time.
Kinetic sand: Mess free fun (as long as you put it in a bin or sensory table). We use this a lot in our house!
Light box: This is on Marley’s list this year and it looks like a great alternative to puzzles.
Balance beam pieces: A great addition to obstacle courses and easy to stack and store away.
Zero gravity car: I have seen this thing all over the place and it drives up walls. It seems like any young kid would be obsessed with the idea of this.
Camera: The girls are constantly stealing my phone and taking pictures, but then they don’t want to give it back. This would be a great option for them to take pictures on their own!
Pip squeaks: We got these as a birthday gift one year and this is probably our most reached for art supply. It is easy to bring on the go or while traveling.
Wellie wisher: These are a cheaper, slightly smaller version of American Girl dolls and they are really cute. Marley loves hers and plays with it just as much as her baby dolls.
Sensory swing: This would be amazing to put in a basement or playroom as a way to wind a wild toddler down. We have these at work and it is incredible how grounding these can be for a wound up 3 year old.
Grocery store: My parents have this at their house and it allows for so much creativity and imaginative play. We make pet stores, grocery stores, Target, and it is a great way to have siblings play together nicely (sometimes).
